Our initiative is led by a dedicated group of passionate youth volunteers who share a commitment to environmental stewardship and community service. Together, we plan projects, coordinate volunteer events, and work with local partners to bring meaningful improvements to the Ambleside Seawalk.
We are always excited to welcome new volunteers and community partners who share our vision of creating a cleaner, greener, and more connected community.

Cary Zhang
President
Cary Zhang is a Grade 11 student at Collingwood Secondary School. He is grateful to be serving as the President of ACSW. He is an active core member and leader in ACSW’s activities and enjoys to contribute his time and talent to this association. He has been working for his school math club and chess club as both of presidents, meantime contributing to business club at school. He looks forward to holding community events as the President of ACSW. Cary is gratified to spread kindness and warmth to society through the efforts of him and his peers. He is ready to devote his time and enthusiasm to the work of ACSW.
Bob Mao
Vice President and Chief Technology Officer
Bob Mao is a Grade 11 student with a strong passion for mathematics and social practice. He has shown remarkable growth in both academic pursuits and community engagement, always seeking to connect what he learns with meaningful real-world impact. Bob has participated in prestigious mathematics competitions such as AMC 12, AIME, and USAMO, where he achieved excellent results through dedication, perseverance, and strong analytical ability. Beyond academics, he is also one of the core members of AOC, actively contributing to its initiatives and social practice projects. Bob hopes to continue using his knowledge, leadership, and sense of responsibility to make meaningful contributions to society and create a lasting positive impact on the community.
Abby Li
Project Manager
Abby is a grade 10 student studying at Mulgrave School in West Vancouver. She is currently a student in the IB MYP program with a strong interest in Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology. Abby enjoys challenging herself academically and is especially interested in applying scientific concepts to real-world problems. Outside of school, she finds herself enjoying creative activities such as piano, art, design, singing, and dance. Abby looks forward to working with peers in the organization and hopes to create a meaningful impact on the community.
Charlie Li

enjoys challenging himself through
problem-solving and hands-on learning.
Charlie hopes to pursue a career in
engineering and is always eager to expand
his knowledge in science and technology.
Outside of school, he enjoys playing golf,
doing some volenteer work, playing gutair,
and spending time with friends. Charlie

creativity, and believes that collaboration
leads to better ideas and stronger results. He

Eric Huang
Eric Huang is a Grade 10 student at Lord Byng Secondary School in Vancouver with a strong passion for Mathematics, Physics, and
Computer Science, who enjoys tackling complex problems through analytical reasoning and hands-on coding projects while aspiring to pursue a career in engineering or technology.
Beyond academics, Eric is a dedicated runner
who believes in the power of relentless training, spending countless hours pushing his limits on the track to constantly improve his personal bests, and he actively volunteers in his community by helping with food drives, running clinics for younger kids, and participating in local clean-up events. In his spare time, he enjoys chess, science fiction, and collaborating with peers on creative projects, and he values teamwork, responsibility, and perseverance--believing that hard work and collaboration lead

Victor is a Grade 11 student at Point Grey Secondary School in Vancouver. He has a strong interest in Physics, Mathematics, and Biology and enjoys exploring challenging problems through analytical thinking and scientific inquiry. He actively seeks opportunities to develop both his academic abilities and leadership skills through competitions, research, and community involvement. Outside of school, Victor is a member of his school's cross-country and track & field teams. He enjoys long-distance running, volunteering in the community, and reading about science and current events. He values curiosity, perseverance, and teamwork, and believes that meaningful collaboration leads to innovative solutions and positive change. He looks forward to contributing to the organization while continuing to learn from those around him.

Louise is a Grade 10 student at Point Grey Secondary School in Vancouver. She has a strong interest in Mathematics and enjoys solving problems. Outside of school, she actively participates in volunteer work and enjoys communicating with people from different backgrounds. In her free time, she likes playing the guitar, practicing Chinese calligraphy, playing badminton, and exploring new hobbies. She values teamwork, responsibility, and kindness, and hopes to continue learning, contributing to her community, and making a positive impact.

Vivian Ding

Vivian Ding is a Grade 9 junior student in high school at Point Grey Secondary School. She is passionate about sports and outdoor activities, and she hopes to establish a snowboarding club in grade 10 to connect students who share the same enthusiasm. Vivian aims to encourage more people to experience the excitement.

Ziyi Zhao is a senior at Magee Secondary School in Vancouver, and she is honored to be the Chief Marketing Officer Assistant of the Vancouver Youth Mathematical Modeling Foundation. With a strong passion for mathematics, she is especially interested in applying concepts can be used to solve real-world challenges, which inspires her to keep learning and improving. She manages the organization’s budgeting, fundraising, and partnership initiatives. Beyond academics, she finds balance through her hobbies—Singing, playing the piano, playing the violin, and playing badminton. She uses these hobbies to participate in various rehearsals and performances of the school choir and orchestra, which help her stay creative, focused, and resilient. She looks forward to engaging with peers in the organization, contributing her enthusiasm for math.
Frank Fang

Frank Fang is a grade 10 student who studies in Magee Secondary School in West Vancouver. He really loves to study English and also loves to learn other subjects. Outside of school he likes to do some sports like running and playing badminton, and sometimes he loves to spend time with his friends. Frank loves doing some new things. He believes trying new things can make his lives more colorful and get more experience.

He is a dedicated student with a strong interest in mathematics, science, and engineering, and enjoys developing his problem-solving and critical thinking skills through both academics and hands-on learning. Outside of school, Ethan enjoys playing basketball, staying active, and participating in volunteer opportunities. Through his experiences, he has developed the values of teamwork, responsibility, perseverance, and effective communication. Ethan believes in contributing positively to his community and is always eager to learn, take on new challenges, and grow both academically and personally. Serving as District Director for White Rock AOC, Harry is an ambitious grade 11 student in Grandview Heights Secondary School driven by a keen interest in strategic leadership and data analysis. He thrives on tackling complex challenges, cultivating meaningful connections, and fostering collaborative growth across his team. Aspiring to pursue a future in applied mathematics. Harry continually seeks opportunities to broaden his intellectual horizons and refine his executive capabilities. Beyond his academic and leadership pursuits, he enjoys single engine flying and engaging with his local community. Guided by the core principles of integrity, adaptability, and vision, Harry believes that empathetic leadership empowers communities to achieve transformative results. Joanna is a Grade 10 student at Brentwood College School. She is curious, open-minded, and enjoys exploring new ideas both inside and outside the classroom. While she has not yet decided on a future major or career path, she is always eager to learn new skills and discover subjects that interest her. Outside of school, she enjoys playing golf and hockey, although she considers them hobbies that she is still improving at. She also likes spending time with friends and believes that trying new experiences helps her grow both personally and academically. Joanna values responsibility, teamwork, and a positive attitude. She looks forward to contributing to the organization, learning from others, and making meaningful connections while having a positive impact on the community.

He has a strong interest in Mathematics and Physics, and enjoys challenging himself through problem-solving and real-life questions.Tiger hopes to pursue a career in Mathematics or physics and is always eager to expand his knowledge in technology. Outside of school, he enjoys playing basketball, doing some volenteer work, and spending time with friends. Martina Ling, a Grade 10 student at York House School, is passionate about supporting women and having a more positive community. She is eager to impact the community by supporting the WithME Foundation. Martina strives to contribute to the foundation's empowerment and positive change mission and is inclined to volunteer. Martina is looking forward to working with the team members and significantly and positively impacting feminine hygiene.

Doris is a junior at Point Grey Secondary School. She is a member of WithME Foundation. Doris lives with a twin and wishes for women to have access to feminine hygiene products all over the world to help with their insecurities. She is delighted to see this team suppport the women in the future.
